Nuffield Health 2 Lost to Avenue 3 in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 3 string should have been the closest, with only 15 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with James Clarke winning through.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 60 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Steve Ralphs.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 5 string, RICHARD MARSTON, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 5 string, RICHARD MARSTON, who over-turned a 485 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.

If the Home No. 1 player, James Spurling, had not had to withdraw after 3 game(s) the result could have been closer.
