Match Report Press Report

Trojans 1 Beat Fair Oak 1 in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. This turned out to be the case with a Home win.

On paper, the number 3 string should have been the closest, with only 56 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, John Merriman, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 5 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 80 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Alex Finch.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 5 string, Alex Finch, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 5 string, Alex Finch, who over-turned a 507 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
